Unfortunately, I was not able to replicate your experience during my short tenure with the Pixelbook. It might be true that I bought a faulty unit.

Granted, I’m not going to close the door entirely to Google Chrome OS. There is still a lot of potential there. I might one day venture to one of their devices some day in the future days to come.
